A – 2 – 2×4 – 2′ 9 1/4″
B – 1 – 2×4 – 1′ 10 1/4″

Cut one 2×2 to 2′ 3 1/4″ long (H), Cut a 15-degree bevel cut along the edge of the 2×2. Drill holes through (G) and into (H), and install 3″ carriage bolts. Drill pilot holes and screw 1 1/4″ deck screws through (F) and into (H).
Cut one 1×4 to 1′ 6 1/2″ long (I). Install as shown in illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 1 1/4″ deck screws through (I) and into (F).

I built this last weekend out of scraps, as a skill building exercise. I’m fairly new to woodworking. My one suggestion would be to adjust the angle between the seat and back. This one is a little too upright as is.
How far from the top of ( board F ) do I place ( board I ) no measurement given! Thanks !!!
