This DIY lawn chair and table plans are designed to be easy and fast to build. The outdoor chair and table are built using 1×6 lumber. Plans include a PDF download (link at bottom of blog post), shopping list, cutting list, and step-by-step illustrated instructions.

3-1×6 – 10′
1 1/2″ deck screws

2 – 1×6 – 1′ 10″
2 – 1×6 – 1′ 11 13/16″

Cut two 1×6’s to 1′ 10″ and two 1×6’s to 1′ 11 13/16″. Assemble as shown on illustration above using 1 1/2″ deck screws.
Cut three 1×6’s to 2′ and assemble as shown above using 1/2″ deck screws. There will be a 1″ overhang on the front and sides. The 1×6 seat slats will have a 1″ gap between each board.
Cut two 1×6’s to 1′ 4″ for the front legs. Cut out the pattern for the front legs as shown on illustration above.
Cut two 1×6’s to 3′ for the back legs. Cut out the pattern for the back legs as shown on illustration above.
Assemble the legs as shown above using 1 1/2″ deck screws. Next cut three 1×6’s to 2′ for the chair back rest, and assemble as shown on illustration above using 1 1/2″ deck screws.

Building the Table
Cut three 1×6’s to 2′, two 1×6’s to 1′ 10″, and two 1×6’s to 1′ 3″ assemble as shown on illustration above using 1 1/2″ deck screws.
Cut four 1×6 to 1′ 4″ for the table legs. The table legs will be the same as the front chair legs, see details for the front chair legs above.
My son is on his way to the lumber store for materials to build 2 sets for Memorial Day for our picnic. Thank you for the easy to follow snap it out directions. All I get from you is appreciated.
The blueprints are very self-explanatory very very easy to follow you sent me a blueprint for a storage shed and we will be started on it as soon as the rain goes away would like some blueprints on some Martin houses if you have any thank you very much
