Cutting List

A – 2 – 2×6 – 10′

B – 4 – 2×6 – 3′ 5″

C – 21 – 2×6 – 4′

D – 6 – 4×4 – 2′ 6″

E – 4 – 1×4 – 8′

Cut two 2×6’s t0 10′ long (A). Cut four 2×6’s to 3′ 5″ long (B). Assemble as shown on illustration above. Pre-drill holes and screw 3 1/2″ deck screws through (A) and into (B).

Cut twenty-one 2×6’s to 4′ long (C). Pre-drill holes and assemble as shown on illustration above using 3 1/2″ deck screws. The deck boards will have a 1/4″ gap between each board. The front and back will have a 1/4″ overhang, the sides will have a 2″ overhang.

Cut six 4×4’s to 2′ 6″ long (D). Assemble as shown on illustration above. Notch the deck boards around the 4×4 rail post. Drill holes and use 5 1/2″ carriage bolts to install the 4×4 rail post.
