chicken run

I put this together with Construct101 plan. I am not a carpenter. I ran into some trouble with the rafters. this single 1′ 2″ vertical piece at the ends of the peaks was difficult to get straight. I suggest using 3 1/2 inch deck screw for the rafters. It turned out pretty nice and my chickens love it. I am planning on putting together the coop part in a couple weeks but i am worried about how to build it right up next to the run. I was thinking of putting the walls up a few feet away then siding and painting the adjacent part then rolling it in close on dowels .
