First time I followed any plans, it turned out great. I added small tables on the sides to set drink or what not…We really enjoy it. Family wanted a bench to match so I made another swing and added legs….

<p style=”text-align: center;”>Good idea on the tables.  Mine’s all done and put together other than my tables.  I extended the top frame pieces by 3″ for the 1×3 slat + gap to make the back taller per my wife’s request.  I’d never seen colors done the way I did, and I like it.  First REAL project I’ve ever done.  It was supposed to be a project done with my dad, but he passed away from a heart attack last year.  Anyway, sealed with Spar Urethane, used through bolts for the mounts reinforced inside, back of frames reinforced with a long 2×4.</p>
