Building the plant stand shelves.
Cut six 1×3’s to 1′ 1 1/2″ long.
Cut twelve 1×3’s to 1′ 4″ long.
Assemble the plant stand shelves as shown on illustration above using 2 1/2″ deck screws.
Cutting the plant stand legs.
Cut four 1×3’s to 4′ 8 1/2″ long. Cut a 4.8 degree angle cut on one end.
Attach the shelves to the legs with 2 1/2″ deck screws. Shelves shown on illustration are spaced out 1′ 2 1/2″.

Looks easy but how do you keep the legs together? other than the shelves?
Make sure to cut the legs first. You can then use the remaining wood from the legs to cut the 6 1 x 3 x 1’1.5″. Otherwise, you will need 7 pieces of 1 x 3 x 8.
