DIY bird house cabin plans built with one fence board.

Bird House Cabin Plans | Overview

(fence board 5/8in. x 5-1/2in. x 6ft.)

Cut one board to 5-1/2in. X 7in. (A).

Cut eight boards to 5/8in. X 8in. (B).

Install as shown on drawing, using exterior wood glue and 1in. brad nail.

Nail through (B) and into (A).

Install (B), (C), (D), and (E).

Use exterior wood glue and1in, brad nails and install as shown on drawing.

Cut two boards to 3-3/8in x 6-3/4in. (F).

Cut 45-degree angle cuts on both end, in opposite direction, as shown on drawing.

Install (F) as shown on drawing using exterior wood glue and 1in. brad nails.

Cut one piece of board to 4-7/8in. X 9in. (G).

Install as shown on drawing using exterior wood glue and 1in. brad nails.

Nail through (G) and into (F).

Cut one piece of board to 5-1/2in. X 9in. (H).

Use 1in. X 1-1/2in. hinges and install as shown on drawing.

Cut one board to 3in. X 3in. (I).

Install as shown on drawing, using exterior wood glue and 1in. brad nails.

Drill a 1-1/2in. hole in the center for the entrance.

Drill a 3/8in. hole and install the 3in. dowel.

Cut three boards to 5/8in. X 2-1/2in. (J).

Install as shown on drawing using exterior wood glue and 1in. brad nails.

Cut one board to 5/8in. X 2in. (K)

Cut a 45-degree angle on one end.

Install as shown on drawing using exterior wood glue and 1in. brad nails.
