Cut a piece of 1×8 to 5-3/4in. x 6-3/4in. (A).

Cut two pieces of 1×8 to 6in.x 6in. (B).

Cut a 45-degree bevel cut as shown on drawing.

Cut a piece of 1×8 to 13-1/2in. (C).

Cut one piece of 1×8 to 6in.x 6-1/4in. (E).

Cut one piece of 1×8 to 6in.x7in. (D).

Cut one piece of 1×8 to 1-3/4in.x 5-3/4in. (F).

Assemble the bird house using exterior wood glue and 1 1/2″ finish nails.

    • Never heard of a 1 x 8 x6 ft fence board. Would this be pressur treated. Saw a redwood one, but was out of stock. Are you using a fence board because it’s dog eared at the top? I wouldn’t think pressure treated wood would be good for the birds. Thanks.
