A – 4 – 2×4 – 44 1/4″ (45 degree angle cuts on all ends in same direction)

B – 1 – 2×4 – 18″

C – 2 – 2×4 – 41 3/4″

D – 8 – 2×6 – 45 3/4″ (cut to size)

E – 1 – 2×2 – 41 3/4″

F – 4 – 2×2 – 11 11/16″ (45 degree angle cuts on all ends in opposite direction)

Bench (cutting list for one bench)

A – 4 – 2×4 – 15 13/16″ (25 degree angle cut on all ends in the same direction)

B – 2 – 2×2 – 8″

C – 2 – 2×6 – 34 3/4″ (cut to size)

D – 2 – 2×4 – 13 3/4″ (45 degree angle cuts on all ends in opposite direction)

Round Picnic Table Plans – Overview

Cut four 2×4’s to 44 1/4″ long for the legs (A). Cut 45 degree angle cuts on all ends in same direction.

Cut one 2×4 to 18″ long for the stretcher (B). Screw 3″ deck screws through the legs (A) and into the stretcher (B).

Cut two 2×4’s to 41 3/4″ long for the for the table apron, cut the ends as shown on illustration above (C). Attach as shown on illustration above, pre-drill holes and attach with 3 1/2″ galvanized carriage bolts.

Cut the 2×6 table top planks (D) as shown on illustration above. The easiest way to draw and cut out the circle is by using trammels.  Drill pilot holes and screw 3″ deck screws through the table planks (D) and into the apron (C).

Cut one 2×2 to 41 3/4″ long for the table brace (E). Cut two 2×2’s to 11 11/16″ long for the table brace (F), cut 45 degree angle cuts on all ends in opposite directions. Install as shown on illustration above using 2 1/2″ deck screws.

Cut four 2×4’s to 15 13/16″ long for the bench legs (A). Cut the ends at 25 degree angle cut on both ends in the same direction. Drill pilot holes and use 2 1/2″ deck screws to attach the legs together.

Cut two 2×2’s to 8″ long for the cleat (B). Install as shown above using 3″ deck screws. Drill pilot holes, screw through the cleat (B) and into the bench legs (A).

Cut the 2×6 bench seat planks (C) as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 3″ deck screws through the planks (C) and into the cleat (B).

Cut two 2×4’s to 13 3/4″ long for the bench brace (D),all the ends will have 45 degree angle cuts in opposite directions. Drill pilot holes and attach as shown on illustration above using 2 1/2″ deck screws.
