I like the way the instructions tells you exactly how to cut an put these diy’s projects together looking forward to building the bench an the garden stool keep’em coming
I made four of these now, and learned that they can be made cheaper with less waste by buying five ten foot 2x4s instead of seven eight footers. Good plans, very heavy duty. Thanks!
I would love to have the plans to your Simple DIY 2×4 Bench. My son Christian, is going to make these benches for elemtary schools in our area for his Boy Scout Eagle Project.
I love the look of these plans – thank you, but I live in Australia and wish the plans were available with metric sizing. Something to maybe consider one day.
note: I made the mistake of cutting the angles wrong. I read the directions thinking when you meant opposite that means cutting them one way on one side and the other way the other side. But after cutting all the pieces wrong I figured out my blunder. I would re-write the instructions in case I’m not the only one who reads directions in that way. If I had followed the directions by the images only. I would be fine.
Thank you for the plans otherwise. God Bless.
I built the Picnic table from the plans,
Looking forward to building this bench also.
Love the 2×4 plans, great outdoor door furniture (art!) in windy Oklahoma! Thanks for sharing!

About $50.

Excellent plans and directions, I am about to attempt the bench. Do you have the same for a small picnic table for kids
