Cut twelve cedar boards (A) to 13″. Cut two 1×2’s to 11″ (B). Drill pilot holes and assemble as shown above using 1 1/4″ deck screws, screw through (B) and into (A). Make two sets, these will be used for the planter sides.
Cut two 1×2’s to 19 1/4″ (C). Assemble two sets for the front and back of the planter as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 1 1/4″ deck screws through (C) and into (A).
Attach all the sides together, drill pilot holes and assemble with 1 1/4″ deck screws.
Cut two cedar boards (D) to 20 3/4″ for the bottom. Drill pilot holes and assemble as shown on illustration above using 1 1/4″ deck screws.
Cut two 2×6’s to 25″ (E) and two 2×6’s to 12 3/8″ (F). Drill pilot holes and assemble as shown on illustration above using 2 1/2″ deck screws. See illustration below for more details.

Attach the planter to (E) (F). Drill pilot holes to the bottom of the planter boards and screw 1 1/4″ deck screws through (A) and into (E) (F).
Drill holes to the bottom boards for water drainage.
Cut one 2×4 to 22″ (G), cut 45 degree angle cuts on the ends. Cut two 2×4’s to 13 3/4″ (H), cut a 45 degree angle cut to one end. Cut one 2×2 to 15″ (I). Assemble the top trim as shown on illustration above, drill pilot holes and use 2 1/2″ deck screws to attach.
Cut three 2×2’s to 51 1/2″ (J). Cut one 2×2 to 15″ (K). Cut five 1×2’s to 22″ (L). Assemble as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (K) and into (J). Drill pilot holes and screw 1 1/4″ deck screws through (L) and into (J).
Attach the trellis to the planter using 2 1/2″ deck screws.
Finish by sanding rough areas and painting.
