  1. I made some of these a while back, love the way they stack, and there stability.

    • they look good, I think I would make mine a bit higher though

      • 26″ is too short. Google says the average height of a saw horse for a 6′ person should be between 34″-36″. I cut all my pieces to 32″. Add 1-1/2″ for the top piece for the total height. I still have to assemble it.

  2. I am going to build these soon, they look good and sturdy and will work good for my projects.

  3. I really like the construct 101 website, I am getting ready to retire and plan to do some wood projects, this site has a lot of good projects and has given me some good ideas. Thank you

  4. very good concept. looks sturdy, and like stackability. will probably make mine a little wider and possibly higher

  5. I have used just about all of your plans and find them to be remarkably easy to follow . Please keep them coming .

  6. Going to build a Quonset hut will need some saw houses look very sturdy.

  7. Excellent looking saw horse will try and make these

  8. Bonjour à tous,

supers chevalets, j’en ai fait 4.
    question solidité rien à redire

    • Great design, however I opted to make the legs 28 1/4” and they’re perfect. I’m 5’10” and there’s no way I could use 26 1/4 height. Also, with the plywood, I would cut the top 2×4 about 1/2” longer on each side so that plywood fits nicely underneath it.

      • If you don’t need to stack the resulting sawhorses that’s fine, but you can not stack them if you build them like that, because the top piece will be longer than the space between the gussets.

  9. Just finished a pair of stackable saw horses. Modified it to include 1/2” Sch 40 PVC to rise support plan when working with my table saw.
Thank you for the idea and plans.
