Cut two 2×8’s to 1′ 2 1/2″ x 7″ (A). Cut four 2×4’s to 1′ 3 1/2″ long (B). Cut one 2×4 to 4′ long (C).

Assemble as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (B) and into (A), and through (C) and into (A).

Cut four 2×4’s to 1′ 3 1/2″ long (B). Assemble the 2×4’s as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (B) and into (A).

Cut two 2×2’s to 1′ 3 1/2″ long (D). Assemble the 2×2’s as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (D) and into (B).

Cut two 2×6’s as shown on illustration above (E).

Cut eight 2×2’s to 4′ long (F). Attach two of the 2×2’s (F) to the two 2×6’s (E) as shown on illustration above. Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (F) and into (E).

Attach the rest of the 2×2 (F) slats as shown on illustration above leaving a 1/2″ gap between the slats. Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (D) and into (F).

Cut a 2×2 to 1′ 3 1/2″ long (D). Attach on the center of the slats (F). Drill pilot holes and screw 2 1/2″ deck screws through (D) and into (F).

  1. good and strong takea A lot of wood , but is simple enought! i use to build long ago , and as my yrs pass and i saved money to buy tools to make things and use , well they were all stolen ! so you injoy what time you have while it last
