- A -2 – fence board – 4 7/8 in. x 9 1/4 in.
Cut two boards as shown on drawing for the front and back.
Drill a 1 1/2 in. hole for the entrance to the front board.
Cut shallow grooves on one side for the inside of birdhouse.
- B – 2 – fence board – 3 5/8 in. x 6 in.
Cut two boards as shown on drawing for the sides.
The top end will have a 60-degree bevel cut.
- C – 2 – fence board – 5/8 in. x 5/8 in.
Cut to boards as shown on drawing for the 4×4 post support.
Attach as shown using exterior wood glue and 16 gauge 1 in. finish nails.
Attach the front, back, and sides using exterior wood glue and 16 gauge 1 1/4 in. finish nails.
- D – 2 – fence board – 5 1/2 in. x 8 in.
Cut two boards as shown on drawing for the roof. The top end will have a 60-degree bevel cut.
Attach the roof using exterior wood glue and 16 gauge 1 1/4 in. finish nails.
- E – 1 – fence board – 3/4 in. x 2 1/2 in.
Cut one board as shown on drawing for the birdhouse perch.
Attach using exterior wood glue and 16 gauge 1 in. finish nails.
- F – 2 – fence board – 1 in. x 4 3/4 in.
Cut two boards as shown on drawing, the top end will have a 60-degree bevel cut.
Attach using exterior wood glue and16 gauge 1 1/4 in. finish nails.
Secure the birdhouse to the 4×4 post using 1 1/2 in. deck screws.
Remove screws and remove birdhouse from post to clean out.
