Thank you so much for these plans. It seems so much cosier when I look out and see furniture we made ourselves.
Hi there. Thanks so much for these plans! I just started getting the email updates and came across this plan. I am curious though…in the shopping list I don’t see mention of wood type (i.e. pine, cedar, etc). Since it is an outdoor project, I assume a wood variety that holds up well to the elements. Or does it not matter since you can always coat/seal any type of wood to make it work for outdoors?
Rather than showing the distance of the “Cut-off’s” can you instead show a degree of angle for the cuts? This makes it much simpler for a sliding miter saw.
Thanks for your great plans and easy to follow directions. I modified the Picnic Table Plans slightly to make a Live Edge picnic table; and my wife loves it for the kids…
Muito bonita esta poltrona de madeira , eu achei muito pratica e fácil de fazer
é um cadeira muito fácil de fazer eu gostei e vou construir uma
I also would like to see the angle of cuts.
After you determine the first cut it should be pretty simple to use you speed square to determine the angle for the next few cuts. I get what you are saying but I believe these plans were made for a more move user that may or may not have a sliding miter saw.
Muito bonito trabalho
Great plan that allows you to use your imagination while keeping you on track with easy to interpret directions. First time builder here. The chair looks great. I had a lot of fun. Thanks.

Can we have the measurements by CM

Hey, I’m building these right now and having a good time. Had a couple comments/questions.
On part C of the chairs you say:
“Cut a 1×4 to 11 5/16″, next rip in half. Cut the ends as shown in illustration above.”
I couldn’t really figure out what you meant by “rip in half” it seems like you mean to split the 1×4 down the length so it’s two pieces that are only .375″ in depth which seemed like a major pain in the ass to do with any accuracy. I just ended up making a second one out of another 1×4 for the other side. But what did you mean by rip in half?
Also, on the table, which I’m just starting, it looks like there is a missing part D, you only list one which would mean the back of the table is open and it would only be a 3 sided frame, is that intentional?
